"Why do you call me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do what I tell you? Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built. But the one who hears and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the stream broke against it, immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great."

In this verse, Jesus is speaking to the multitudes, the disciples, to me and to you. I like to ask, what does this verse say to you? To me it reminds me of the times that small still voice will tell me to do this or tell me not to do that but end up doing this opposite. Then most of the time things wouldn't work out the way I wanted. It's because that house i had was weak. I built my own. I didn't build it on the rock, the foundation of Jesus. That resulted in my house crumbling and washing away.
However once I put my trust in Jesus and built my house on Him, i tell you, things go a bit better. I felt better about how things are going, we have more to show. Because we give thanks, read His word, pray and do the things He asks of us to do.
Now I ask you, how is it going? Have you Built your house on the foundation of Jesus and do what He has said to do?
I encourage you, if you do not know, read your bible or read it more, Pray more and do the things that still small voice says.
